O projeto DEleitura é uma iniciativa que consiste em um clube do livro composto por mulheres que se reúnem periodicamente para discutir suas leituras e também publicar suas escrituras. A ação além de promover a leitura entre mulheres, também as capacita e oferece uma voz por meio da literatura. A mestranda na Universidade Católica de Brasília, Catarina, solicitou a Cajuí a criação de uma cartilha de atividades e uma animação para um documentário relacionado à sua pesquisa de mestrado. Tal pesquisa envolveu mulheres presidiárias na penitenciária do Gama, e a cartilha seria distribuída entre elas, contendo exercícios relacionados ao livro "Ulisses" em comemoração aos 100 anos da obra.
O projeto incluiu a diagramação da cartilha, com a criação de ilustrações dos personagens principais do livro "Ulisses" e a inserção de uma aba destacável no final para uso nas atividades. A atividade tem o propósito de alfabetizar e capacitar as mulheres na penitenciária, servindo como um espaço para discussões profundas sobre literatura, empoderamento feminino e auto expressão. Além de incluir elementos lúdicos, como emojis, para tornar as atividades mais envolventes. É necessário oferecer uma forma de comunicação e reflexão para as mulheres que, muitas vezes, são negligenciadas pelo sistema social.

The DEleitura project is an initiative that consists of a book club composed of women who periodically gather to discuss their readings and also to publish their writings.
